Weekly Clubs
Our weekly Drama Clubs & Musical Theatre classes run during term time at the Legion Club in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, near Aylesbury. Our Spring term for 2024 will start on Monday 15th April and run until Monday 15th July.
We also run bitesize drama clubs at Wendover Junior School during lunch times.
Weekly Club Schedule
STAR-STARTERS
Years 1 & 2 (age rising 6 to 7)
Mondays 3:40pm to 4:15pm
£5.50 PER SESSION
Weekly after-school drama club for children aged rising 6 and 7
Imaginative play sessions where we develop our skills in working together, taking turns and gaining the confidence to perform.
£5.50 per session includes free pick up for a limited number of Year 2 children available from John Hampden Infant School

STAR-LINGS
YEARS 3 & 4
Mondays 4pm to 5:25pm
£7.50 PER SESSION
Our weekly after-school clubs for Years 3 & 4 run concurrently with our Star-Lets sessions for Years 5 & 6. They offer children a creative space to imagine and perform. We play drama games to develop our skills and also improvise our own performances. This means every child can do as much or as little as they feel comfortable to do. By reducing the pressure of performing but still providing that ‘Performance-High’, children soar in confidence. Our coaching style nurtures this further, providing positive feedback and ideas to improve.

STAR-LETS
YEARS 5 & 6
Mondays 4pm to 5:30pm
£7.50 PER SESSION
Creative drama classes developing improvised drama and scripted performances. Children can continue the magic of developing their own performances, while building confidence and developing interpersonal skills in a fun and stimulating environment. Classes run alongside our Star-Lings classes with a chance for older Star-Let’s to support younger members or work on more advaanced level drama.

MUSICAL THEATRE with alana asher
Age 7 +
Mondays 5:30pm to 6:10pm
£6 PER SESSION or £5 for drama members
Learn vocals and choreography for your favourite show tunes with professional performer, Alana Asher. Alana has performed on the West End in hits including Les Miserables and has the most wonderful teaching style - please come and try one of sessions - you really won’t regret it!

Drama STARS
SECONDARY SCHOOL YEARS 7 TO 11
Mondays 6:10pm to 7:40pm

Weekly drama and social club for young people in school Years 7 to11.
A great place to reunite with friends in different schools, make new friends and hang out with like-minded people. Scripted and improvised drama, performances and skill-boosting games and activities. Come and join our friendly and inclusive group!

at Wendover C of E Junior School
At our weekly lunch club, children will be delighted to spend their lunchtime having fun with new and existing friends but parents can be assured that their child is developing essential skills, in communication and collaboration, whilst boosting confidence, concentration and creativity. The Dramarama ethos is about giving every individual child a chance to shine, receiving coaching, support and advice on how they can develop their skills - whatever level they are at.
