Beauty and the Beast Junior to Take Centre Stage in Dramarama Clubs’ Popular Summer Theatre Experience

Children and teenagers from across the local area are getting ready to step into the spotlight this summer as Dramarama Clubs launches another year of its highly anticipated West End Experience.

The performing arts company reports that 80% of spaces have already been booked for this year’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior, which will give young performers the opportunity to appear in a large-scale theatrical show.

Under the direction of Danielle Gaglione, participants will rehearse and perform as part of a professionally staged production featuring detailed costumes, energetic choreography, singing and live performances.

Danielle said: “We’re thrilled to offer young people the chance to be part of something so special. From the costumes to the production quality, every element is designed to give children a real taste of what it’s like to perform in a West End-style show.”

The summer production continues to prove popular with returning families, with around 75% of this year’s cast having previously appeared in one of Dramarama’s productions. In addition, most participants have attended the company’s classes or workshops before joining the show.

Organisers say the high number of returning performers reflects the welcoming and encouraging atmosphere built throughout the rehearsal process.

“We want every child to feel supported and included,” Danielle added. “It’s important to us that children not only develop their performance skills, but also grow in confidence, make new friendships and have an unforgettable experience.”

Feedback from parents has also been overwhelmingly positive, with recent surveys showing that 93% rated the West End Experience five stars. Families highlighted the supportive team and the overall quality of the programme.

The all-inclusive fee includes rehearsals, costumes and show tickets, helping parents avoid hidden extras while allowing families to fully enjoy the performances together. Auditions for lead roles will be held on 28 June, although no audition is needed to take part in the ensemble cast.

With places continuing to fill quickly, families are being encouraged to register soon to avoid disappointment and give young performers the opportunity to appear in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior this summer.
